About bounce clothing
Bounceclothing.com was formed in March 2003 by two brothers - James & Jonathan Bird, a company specialising in imported clothes from America.
They are also an official stockist for all the following top Hip-hop brands: Akademiks, Avirex, Ecko Unltd,G-Unit, Phat Farm, Fubu, SPX Trainers,Projekts NYC, Joker Brand,Rocawear,Wale adeyemi,Ballerr & UNK. The site also specialises in supplying customised, one-off graffiti airbrushed clothing, where graffiti art is sprayed directly onto T-shirts, baseball caps, jeans and even trainers by a top American artist.
James & Jonathan had the idea to launch a company called Bounce Clothing last year while away on holiday in Florida. They were helped and supported by their Father, John Bird to open a shop in Nottingham, a few months later. But dreams of running a successful business were shattered when the shop was burgled and £6,000 of stock, fresh from the USA, was stolen. The brothers carried on trading but were forced to rethink their plans when the shop was held-up by armed raiders just a week later. James & Jonathan faced a difficult decision - do they close the shop or risk the chance of someone being injured or even killed?
Knowing the idea was original they considered other ways to bring Bounce back. Which is why they turned to the internet. After six months in the planning Bounce clothing.com went live in December 2003.
The internet site is receiving more and more hits each week and many of the customers are giving them very positive feed back. The aim is to become the best Hip-hop & Urban clothing web-site in the U.K. "WATCH THIS SPACE!!".
